They are launching new gloss lipsticks and they look absolutely amazing, They are launching other products too and I will keep all of you guys posted when they launch. Super excited for that.

I went for something on the glam side! Soft golden eyes with a bold red lip. The lip colour is from the Sleek Matte Me range. Absolutely love it. Super long lasting and matte.

Here are also some pictures at the event!

As you can tell from the pictures, we really had a super time! At the end, I received such an amazing goodie bag, full of different Rimmel products.

Here are the products I received....

There's a beautiful bronzer, lip pencil, pink blush, Gel nail polish, a gloss, Kate Moss lipstick, Bioderma sunblock, Stay Matte foundation, concealer, mascara (which smells of cucumbers - no joke) and a waterproof liquid eyeliner. **Malta Fashion Awards**

Hey everyone and welcome back to my new blog post which is all about the

Malta Fashion Awards!!

Last night, I was backstage at the MFA, as I was assisting another make up artist, her name is Sandra De Gaetano. If you haven't heard of her...you MUST check out her make up page!! She is fantastic and extremely talented. I feel so lucky that she asked me to be her assistant. I was so excited as this was my first time attending the awards.

Being backstage was a great experience and I feel I learnt so much from it. Was great meeting new people and watching other make up artists and hair stylists. I love working with Sandra and we always have a great laugh with one another. We have some exciting projects coming up and I can't wait to show all you guys. So stay in tuned for our make up journey!

In the photo above, this is Sandra working on one of the nominees.

Those are just a few photos I took when I was backstage and here is one of me! I didn't manage to take photos of myself as we were both so rushed and I was just super excited.

I did a real quick make up look and it actually came really good. Barely shows in the photo, but I'll write another post with how to create a fast and easy make up look when in a bit of a rush.

I feel so grateful that I had the opportunity to be backstage with other amazing make up artists. This is definitely a passion of mine and it was an amazing experience! Well done to all the winners last night and to everyone who was involved in the whole making of the show.

Here is my Facebook page if you would like to see some make up looks that I like posting;

New Sleek "Matte Me" Lipsticks | Kylie Jenner Lip Kit Dupes | Lipstick Crazy

Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog!

Today's blog post is going to be about the NEW Sleek "Matte Me" lipstick in the shade - Shabby Chic and about their new shades!! They just brought out 6 new shades and I swatched them all yesterday. You can purchase these lipsticks from Melita Health and Beauty....and you know what the best part is .......

THEY ARE ONLY 8 .99 euros!!

Yes, you read correctly....8.99. So worth it! They are such beautiful liquid lipsticks and they dry completely matte and they are super long lasting. If you haven't tried these lipsticks, I highly suggest that you do. All the shades are so beautiful and there is a great variety of colours. From nudes to red to dark shades - just amazing. Here is a photo of the 6 new shades;

Whilst looking at these shades, I can already notice some dupes from Kylie Jenner's Lip Kit - Kourt K, Posie K, Candy K and 22. You can purchase Kylie's lip kit for nearly 45 euros including delivery and you can purchase these Sleek lipsticks for just 10 euros!! The difference is absolutely crazy....and to top it off, Sleek also have lip liners that match the shades for only 4 euros. So the most that you would spend for both is only 14 euros. Such a bargain!

Out of the 6 shades shown above, I purchased the shade - Shabby Chic along with the matching lip liner, which is a roll up. Here it is below;

It is exactly the same as Posie K from Kylie's Lip Kit. Look at this below;

Exactly the same! So anyone who can't afford Kylie's lip kits - I really do suggest that you check out the collection of Sleek. They are great lipsticks and I just love them. I can't wait to buy some more colours, I am starting my small Sleek collection, till now I own 2 of their "Matte Me" lipsticks.

  1. Shabby Chic
  2. Rioja Red (which is a dupe of "22") - a perfect red shade!

Really hope you enjoyed this blog post, if you have any difficulties or uncertainties please feel free to leave a comment and also follow me on;

APRIL faves!

Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog!

So as you can tell from the title, this blog post is going to be about my April favourites. I have 9 beautiful items to show you guys and they are all so amazing. I know that you will love them! I mention a lot of these items on my Facebook page, so if you want to check out my page, here is the link - https://www.facebook.com/Suzannes-Eye-on-Make-Up-974851869227611/?fref=ts

So here they are:

  1. The Stefania D'Alessandro eye shadow in "Pearl"
  2. L'Oreal Faux Cils Superstar mascara
  3. Sleek "Matte Me" liquid lipstick in the colour red
  4. The Maybelline Instant Anti-Age concealer
  5. Gerard Cosmetics hydra-matte liquid lipstick in "Cher"
  6. NYX Matte Bronzer
  7. Make Up Revolution "Pro Illuminate" highlighter
  8. Becca "Champagne Pop" highlighter
  9. The Make Up Revolution "Naked Underneath" palette
Let's talk about them now!

In the photo shown above, these are the first 5 items mentioned in the list. For those who follow me on my Facebook page, would know how much I love the Stefania D'Alessandro eye shadow. It's so beautiful and pigmented! There are different shades and you can purchase them from Melita Health and Beauty Pharmacy. Also, I mention Gerard Cosmetics a lot! This brand must be one of my favs, their hydra-matte lipsticks are just stunning and they dry completely matte and they are super long lasting. You can either purchase them from here;

Then there is the Sleek lipstick which is also stunning - purchased from Melita also! The last two are the concealer and mascara. I have tiny lashes, and honestly that mascara is a life saver. Has two ends because you first apply a white layer and then over top of that the black.

Moving on! The NYX bronzer and 2 amazing highlighters which I am totally in love with!
The bronzer is such a perfect shade and when applied, it really warms up the face perfectly. Of course it's matte and I just love matte. If you're looking for a bronzer - definitely suggest this one. The highlighters are definitely my fav - both so pigmented and you'll be glowing like the gods. I purchased the Make Up Revolution highlighter for only 4 pounds and from this site;

And the Becca highlighter from here; http://www.spacenk.com/uk/en_GB/brands/l/laura-mercier/

Lastly, the Make Up Revolution "Naked Underneath" palette which of course could be purchased from their official site. I love this palette, amazing shades, pigmented and has shimmer and matte shades. If you want to see this palette swatched and a whole review - here is my blog post all about it.

I really hope that this post was helpful and that you enjoyed reading it! If you have any concerns or difficulties, feel free to leave a comment. Hope you all have a fantastic weekend and will see you in my next post!

Which was your fav item out of all of them?

Lots of Love,

Melita Health and Beauty Event - Skin Care | Beauty | Make up!

Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog!

On Tuesday 8th of March I attended an event which was hosted by the Melita Health and Beauty team. It was such an amazing event and everything was so well organized. There were some nibbles, drinks and the best of all ...we were surrounded by lots of make up! What's more to ask for? There were quite a lot of people and I really enjoyed meeting all the beauty bloggers again. The staff were absolutely amazing also, they were so helpful and they are all so knowledgeable about the products. It's a must to go to Melita everyone!! It's right opposite Champs in Paceville.

Since this was a beauty event, I really wanted to slay my make up! I used my Carli Bybel palette (to see a review about this palette, check out my previous blog post - "My February Favs") on my eyes and I opted for a bold red lip, I used the Sleek "Matte Me" lipstick, which you can also purchase from Melita Pharmacy. I'm absolutely in love with this lipstick, it's such a must have! It dries completely matte and the result is just beautiful. Here are two pictures of my make up look for the event;

So there it is! I loved my make up and I was so happy with how it turned out.

At the event, there was 15% off and so I had to buy something! I was going crazy in there surrounded by all that make up, however I had to resist myself because I knew that I wanted to buy skin care. The past few weeks my skin has been extremely bad. Since I was around 14 years old, I've been suffering from acne. Sometimes my skin is good but then it could be really bad. My skin is definitely at it's worst now and having acne is such a horrible experience. Those people who have acne can definitely relate with me. I've tried several treatments and anti-biotics, but nothing seemed to work for me. So I decided to try out Dermalogica which I've heard is amazing for acne prone skin! I bought the "Clearing Skin Wash", basically this is a wash you use twice a day. This helps clear oils and bacteria on break-out prone skin. The staff at Melita pharmacy really helped me with this and so I am really hoping that this would work. I also started using the Dermalogica "Clear Start Overnight Treatment". It's for breakout clearing and you use this before you go to bed.

I've only been using these for the past 4 days, however I'm already kind of feeling a difference. My skin feels cleaner and my acne is slowly fading, but it's still early days. I will definitely up date you guys on this and will write another post all about my skin care. I took photos of my skin before I started using these products so that you can all see the before and after. So will keep you all updated! You can purchase Dermalogica products from Melita Pharmacy, I definitely suggest you go there so that one of the staff members can help you out because they might even tell you to use a different brand for example, BioDerma. It is also an extremely good brand for the face, however, Dermalogica is definitely for severe acne. Here is the wash below;

At the event we got this amazing goodie bag full of amazing products, which can all be purchased from Melita if any of you are interested.

We got this extremely cute make up bag from Elizabeth Arden, Shiseido perfect radiance cream and whitening cream, Revlon bronzer, Max Factor mini mascara and excess shimmer in copper, the L'Oreal super liner luminizer, the GLOV make up remover, Sleek lipstick in the colour "Reserved" and their beautiful "i-Divine Del Mar Volume II" palette. Such a beautiful goodie bag full of amazing products! Here is the palette and lipstick separately so that you can see them better;

I really enjoyed myself at this event, was absolutely amazing. If you have any questions regarding the products that I've mentioned, please feel free to leave a comment below. I shall be updating you guys on my skin care routine and hopefully I'll finally have clear skin - fingers crossed. I really hope you all enjoyed this blog post, share this if you did and follow me on Instagram - Suzanne1818.

February Favourites!

Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog :)

I've been so busy the past few weeks...I started my Placement on the 15th of February and there is just so much to do, but I'm absolutely loving it! Such a great experience and I'm learning so much. I finally have some time to write a new blog post for you guys and this one is going to be about my February Favourites! I really narrowed this down because this post would have been extremely long....but I have 3 favourite products that I want to share with you guys and I've just been loving them so much.

Here are my 3 February Favourites....

Let's start by talking about the Carli Bybel Palette....

This beautiful palette is an eye shadow and highlighter palette! The colours are so beautiful and pigmented. This palette has been by go to make up palette, I'm in love with it. The colours are perfect, you have some beautiful neutral colours, along with shimmery brown shadows to intensify a make up look, then there's an amazing mauve colour - which is by far my favourite. Not only does this palette have great eye shadows but it also has highlighters, which is perfect for any skin tone. The highlighters are great and I totally recommend this palette. Has perfect colours for a day time look and also for an evening look! LOVE LOVE LOVE! I bought this palette from BHcosmetics.

Next are the Gerard Cosmetics lipsticks....

I'm totally in love with this lipstick - it's called Ecstasy!! Such a beautiful colour and it's so long lasting. I wore this on Saturday night and it literally did not come off. It is a Hydra-Matte liquid lipstick and so it dries on the lips, however if you apply some lip balm before it will be fine. I'm loving liquid lipsticks, they are so easy to apply and I'm just totally in love with this one right here. I bought this from their official site; https://www.gerardcosmetics.com/. If you go on their Instagram page, they tell you about some offers and discounts! Last night I bought another liquid lipstick as they have 40% off....which is just amazing! This is how the lipstick looks....

Lastly ....the other lipstick from Gerard Cosmetics. This is not a liquid lipstick, just a normal matte lipstick and it's called 1995. I also bought this from their site and it's so beautiful. Perfect for during the day and for the evening. I really love Gerard Cosmetic's lipsticks, they are so beautiful and really long lasting, totally worth the price. They are 20 dollars each, however they always have great discounts and so they become totally worth it and there is also free delivery. I bought both lipsticks for only 20 euros, so check out their Instagram page for offers.

So those are my February Favs! I really hope you enjoyed this post and if you have any questions please feel free to comment below. Follow me on Instagram; Suzanne1818 and on snapchat; SuzieCutie18. I really hope you all had a great weekend and stay tuned for my next blog post.

Valentine's Day Make Up Look

Hey everyone and welcome back to my blog!

Today's blog post is about a Valentines make up look. You all know that Valentine's Day is tomorrow and so I wanted to share with you guys a pretty and simple make up look perfect for the occasion. So if you're interested, keep on reading :)

Of course, this look is not just for those girls that are going on dates but could be used for any occasion really! Even if you're just going out with your friends, this look could totally be for you. So here is the look below;

Of course, I filled in my brows to give them some shape and I used the Smashbox brow definer which is just amazing, I wrote about this in my previous blog so check that out if you haven't seen it yet. For the eyes I used a beautiful gold colour on my lid and pink on the crease. I used the Mermaids Forever Palette from Make Up Revolution. It's such a beautiful palette with loads of really beautiful shades.

Then I wanted to do something slightly different and so I decided to smoke my lower lash line with a purple eye shadow. I really love how it looked, the purple really made the look complete. For my inner highlight I used "Pearl" from Stefania D'Alessandro. I absolutely love this shimmer, it's just so beautiful and your eyes just pop with it! Then do that fierce wing and add a pair of your fav falsies and you're good to go :) I love these false eye lashes, they are just perfect! These are the ones I bought from England, it's also in my previous blog post.

Here are the colours I used for this make up look (marked with a X). The pink shades, that golden colour on the right and that really pigmented purple at the bottom.

You can definitely rock this look with a pink or nude lipstick. If you want to make the look more dramatic then you can just add some black eye shadow in the outer corner to really make that intense smokey look and then a red lip! You can never go wrong with a red lip!!

I really hope that you guys liked this make up look, it's very simple yet eye catching at the same time! Hope that you all have a great Valentine's Day and if you re-created this look please tag me either on Facebook or Instagram - I would love to see them!
